ABOUT ME

I have joyfully been a health and well-being coach and educator for over a decade, serving groups and individuals who want to live a long and fulfilling life; emotional and physical well-being are fundamental to achieving your dreams!

Empowering clients to reach their well-being goals through active listening, dynamic conversation, and playful collaboration is how I inspire people to be in total alignment with who they are and how they want to live.

I’m known for my honest, trustworthy, down-to-earth style of coaching. I help clients turn possibilities into reality by implementing specific, step-by-step action items, based on evidence-based scientific research that lead to sustainable success!

Based on evidence-based scientific methodologies, my coaching is rooted in positive psychology that builds self-confidence and self-esteem. I specialize in empowering you to implement lifelong healthy habits by understanding where you are today, building on what you already know, and supporting you in taking action to achieve your goals.

I’ve worked in healthcare, private, and public institutions as a health educator and transformational coach. I received my Master’s in Public Health (MPH), focusing on health education and self-esteem promotion. My passion for enhancing well-being inspired my journey to become a Wellcoaches Certified Health & Well-being Coach (Wellcoaches CHWC) and National Board Certified Health & Well-being Coach (NBHWC.org). I am also a Certified Personal Trainer (NASM-CPT) as well as a Wellcoaches Lifestyle Medicine Coach in affiliation with the American College of Lifestyle Medicine (ACLM).

As a competitive athlete from a young age, I maintain an active lifestyle. Whether it’s cycling with my husband, hiking with my family and friends, or making time for strength training — staying fit is critical to my personal emotional and physical health, and necessary for maintaining a healthy weight. “Doing something is always better than nothing” is the name of the game for me!

When I’m not coaching, I enjoy spending time in Capitola, California with Chris, my enthusiastic husband (and amateur photographer), with my amazing sons, Logan and Noah, and nearby family and friends. Some of my favorite hobbies include making pottery, reading a good book, walks on the beach, playing Mahjong with friends, and listening to an inspiring podcast.
